Selected work

8 projects from the last two years: LLM tooling and agents, on-device AI, real-time systems, and interfaces that won competitions.

  1. Bot Volley

Write a bot in the browser, then watch it play a live 3D volleyball match against AI or ranked opponents. A deterministic physics engine, sandboxed bot code and real-time state on Convex.

  2. CutFrame

A non-linear video editor with no framework and no build step: multi-track timeline, canvas compositing and export, with AI captions, background removal, voiceover and smart crop running locally in WebAssembly.

2026 · JavaScript, Canvas API, WebAssembly, Transformers.js, MediaPipe

  3. RIFT DevOps Agent

A multi-agent pipeline that prepares a repository, analyses failures, writes fixes with Gemini and opens a pull request, with every step streamed live to a dashboard.

  4. Gati Drishti

A railway ETA platform that forecasts arrival times from movement, history and network conditions, with a corridor simulation, historical analysis, an API sandbox and four languages.

  5. nomnom

A restaurant platform that connects a Flutter ordering app with a real-time kitchen display system: QR table ordering, billing, loyalty points and a cooking queue sorted by preparation time.

  6. Deepfake Forensics

The AI side of a forensic tool built for the Goa Police Hackathon: a fine-tuned video model for frame-level deepfake detection and an audio model for synthetic and cloned speech.

  7. Exportrix

An export platform for MSMEs that brings paperwork, regulations, freight and market research together. First place at the Intern Spirit Hackathon.

    1st place, Intern Spirit Hackathon

2025 · Next.js, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, OpenAI API

  8. Amul 2.0 and Canon

Brand-site redesigns for Amul and Canon made for Sheryians' Reimagine Frontend competition, built with 3D, physics and scroll animation. Our team placed in the national top 100.

Experience

  1. Aug 2026 – Sep 2026

    Software Intern, Spintly

Built an AI support assistant that answers product questions from the documentation and operational questions from the database, through one chat box.

    • Implemented a multi-mode router that decides whether a message needs a documentation lookup, a predefined analytics function, a generated SQL query or plain conversation.
    • Grounded documentation answers with RAG over help-centre articles, using local all-MiniLM-L6-v2 embeddings and 384-dimensional vector search.
    • Put every model-written query through checks before it runs: SELECT-only, a keyword denylist, pattern checks, a table allowlist and a row limit.
    • Returned analytics as structured data and chart configurations, so questions in plain language come back as tables and charts.
    • Also worked on RelGov, a release-governance platform with eight roles and a seven-stage approval pipeline.

Next.js, TypeScript, Groq, Transformers.js, Turso, Recharts

  2. Aug 2025 – Jul 2027

Projects Coordinator, GEC AI Innovation Club and GEC Coders' Club

Leading technical projects across two student clubs at Goa College of Engineering.

    • Architected a full-stack platform for ARM Robotics that handles registrations, fee collection and event archives.
    • Built the Coders' Club website and the event systems for Technix and Happenings, moving registration online.
    • Co-organised the Coders' Club Hackathon 2025 and guided teams through it.
  3. Jun 2024 – Dec 2024

    Developer Intern, Frover

Frontend architecture for client software and the company's own website.

    • Developed responsive frontends for client-facing software and led the build of Frover's animated corporate website.
    • Worked across frontend and backend integration to improve data flow and the overall user experience.

About

I like the unglamorous parts that make an LLM feature something you can rely on.

I’m Rushikesh, Rushi to most people, a Computer Engineering student at Goa College of Engineering in Goa. Most of what I know I learned by shipping: internships at Spintly and Frover, platforms for my college clubs, and a lot of hackathons, some with the topic drawn by lot and the deadline the next morning.

At Spintly I found that most AI engineering happens around the model: routing a question to the right tool, checking the SQL a model writes before it runs, caching, streaming and deployment. That is the work I want to keep doing, where AI and full-stack engineering meet.

I’m also the person who opens dev tools when a button is disabled. Once that turned up a flaw in a results portal, which I reported to the Goa board rather than poke at. A disabled button is a suggestion, not a security control.
